Out of the Chattahoochee National Forest rises Georgia’s highest point at 4,784 feet. This Blue Ridge summit was long known to the Cherokee as “Enotah.” At its peak sits a visitor center and observation tower holding sightlines that can stretch into four states. Inside, its museum frames the region’s natural history and mountain culture.
