Above North America’s lowest point, this ridge was named by the Pacific Coast Borax Company in 1926 for the medieval poet whose masterpiece journeyed through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise. It is also featured as the Mos Eisley overlook in Star Wars. This viewpoint is prized for sunrise, sunset, and dark-sky views that feel otherworldly.
