This landmark institution was established after the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. It houses over 40 million specimens, spanning natural history, anthropology, and paleontology. Its most famous resident, “SUE,” is the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil ever discovered. Beyond exhibits, this historic facility is one of the largest natural history libraries in the world.
