Dedicated in 1897, this granite and marble mausoleum and monument commemorate 18th President and Civil War Union Commander Ulysses S. Grant. A rotunda with Ionic columns, a conical dome, large bronze doors, and an open crypt serving as the final resting place of President Grant and Julia Dent Grant overlook the Hudson River.
