The Renaissance Revival Statehouse is constructed of native limestone and white oak in a Greek cross design. A central rotunda, capped with an original stained-glass cupola, connects four wings that house all three branches of state government. The four-story structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and displays over 40 works of art within the interior and exterior grounds.
