Planning a trip? Check out the Minnesota State Capitol website.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, construction of this Beaux-Arts inspired building concluded in 1905 and it still houses the Supreme Court, Governor’s Office, and House and Senate Chambers. The world’s second largest self-supported marble dome perches above a gold-leafed Quadriga sculpture overlooking downtown and the Capitol Mall from its position on Wabasha Hill.
