Ancient groves of fir, hemlock, and cedar stand sentinel over winding trails traveling through old-growth forests adjacent to the Ohanapecosh River. Located in the southeast corner of the park, the weather here is often drier and sunnier than Paradise and Longmire. The three-mile Silver Falls Trail leads hikers to its spectacular namesake.
