The man who gave voice to the American Revolution mulled over his famous “liberty or death” speech in this plantation home. Guided tours take visitors through much of the main house, which has been restored to its appearance when it was occupied by the Henry family from 1771-1778. The site’s story also is told outside along a numbered path during the self-guided cell phone tour.
