One of the smallest National Park System units, this 160-acre site is home to one of the world’s largest known natural bridges. Considered sacred by neighboring Native American tribes, the picturesque water-sculpted span stretches 275 feet across the river and rises 290 feet from its base, nearly the same height as the Statue of Liberty.
