The Congress Trail is a popular 2.7-mile lollipop-shaped paved trail in the Giant Forest that begins near the General Sherman Tree, the largest living tree on Earth. It winds alongside some of the park’s most impressive sequoias, including the House and Senate groups, and the President Tree, estimated more than 3,200 years old.
