This non-traditional museum houses one of the world’s most concentrated collections of Renoir and Cézanne. The museum also features Dr. Albert Barnes’s 1920s acquisitions of African sculpture, early modern European paintings, and rare American decorative arts. Its galleries are arranged in Dr. Albert Barnes’s strict pedagogical “ensembles,” preserving his experimental approach to art.
