Their love of art led businessman and philanthropist Eli Broad and his wife, Edythe, to finance a museum that showcases contemporary works dating back to the 1950s. A collection of more than 2,000 pieces resides in an architectural wonder awash with natural light. Highlights include art produced by major contemporary artists and an LED light display inside a mirrored space.
