This ocean liner was launched in 1934 and completed 1,001 transatlantic crossings, carrying millions of travelers. Its 1938 crossing of the North Atlantic in 3 days, 20 hours, and 42 minutes famously reclaimed the Blue Riband. After retiring in the 1960s, the ship was permanently moored in California. Today, it boasts an award-winning hotel, restaurants, event space, exhibits, and guided historic and paranormal tours. .
