The U.S. Capitol campus in Washington is adorned with thousands of trees, including the iconic cherry trees that burst into bloom in the spring. Historical society experts lead visitors – some clad in pink – on tours where they admire the grounds and the blossoms commemorating the long-time friendship between America and Japan.
