This submarine on display at Fall River’s Battleship Cove made two World War II Pacific patrols, battling Japanese subs and assisting downed airmen. After permanently leaving service, she entered her new life as a museum exhibit, welcoming visitors to board for a look at Silent Service life experienced by her more than 70 crewmen.
