Planning a trip? Check out the Yucca House National Monument website.
This large unexcavated Ancestral Pueblo site dates to the Pueblo III period (A.D. 1150-1300) and contains more the 600 rooms and 100 plus kivas. The National Monument designation from 1919 continues to preserve and protect the site’s cultural and natural resources, including one of the largest claret cup cactus in the Montezuma Valley.
