The Navajo name for this sandstone canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” Accessible exclusively by guided tour, visitors descend five flights of stairs into a V-shaped canyon. Formations including the Eagle, the Lion, and the Lady in the Wind are products of the unrelenting elements that have eroded this canyon into a natural wonder.
