Southeast Alaska’s 1,500 square mile Juneau Ice Field is home to many grand glaciers, including the 13-mile-long Mendenhall Glacier. Located in an area rich with wildlife including black bears and arctic terns, trails explore lush rainforest, Mendenhall Lake, and Nugget Falls. Vistas like Photo Point offer scenic views of the glacier face and lake.
