Polynesian voyagers brought ‘ohe, or bamboo, with them when they settled on Maui centuries ago. This four-mile trail rises 650 feet and meanders through a bamboo forest, enveloping hikers with sound on windy days. Following the Pīpīwai stream, this trail features an overlook of Makahiku Falls and terminates at the 400-foot tall Waimoku Falls.
