After flowing underground for decades, pure spring water rises to the surface in this secluded canyon. The spring, one of the nation’s largest, empties into the Snake River at the rate of 180,000 gallons per minute. Hikers who walk the trail into the canyon can swim in the cold, crystal-clear water and rest beside a 20-foot waterfall.
