Often called the “Niagara of the West,” this 900-foot-wide Snake River attraction is taller than the famed falls back east. Prime viewing times are late spring and early summer when snow pack melts and surging waters flow dramatically over the 212-foot drop. Shoshone Falls Park offers hiking trails, picturesque picnicking opportunities and several viewing platforms to behold the majestic falls.
