Completed in 1887, this 175-foot brick tower is one of the best preserved historic light stations in the United States. It is also the state’s tallest lighthouse. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1998, its museum preserves keepers’ dwellings, a world-class Fresnel lens collection, shipwreck artifacts, and Cuban refugee rafts.
