Created in 2019, this vast, rugged reserve protects the eastern arm of Great Slave Lake. It is co-managed by Parks Canada and four Indigenous governments. Red granite cliffs rise above a maze of islands, canyons, and glacial landforms, while Christie Bay plunges about 2,000 feet and holds the deepest known water in North America.
