Founding Father and Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton built “The Grange,” a Federal-style home on a 32-acre estate in Manhattan just two years before his ill-fated duel with Aaron Burr. The nearly 300-ton home moved twice to its current St. Nicholas Park location and offers tours of preserved rooms, including his study.
