Visitors who hike, drive, or bike to the highest elevations on America's Atlantic Coast get the country's first view of sunrise part of the year. Summit Road reservations are required during peak months, but the fee is repaid by panoramic views of ocean, islands, Eagle Lake, forests, mountains and colorful western sunsets from 1,530 feet.
