This fabled tree towers rises 275 feet above the ground. It’s still growing, and the more than 2,000-year-old sequoia’s trunk mass likely makes it the largest living thing on Earth. Two trails – one wheelchair accessible – lead through the Giant Forest to the enormous tree where visitors snap photos next to its 36-foot-wide base.
