Viewed from an overlook off Interstate 94, this colorfully striped, continually eroded landscape offers visitors a breathtaking introduction to the prairie park. The viewpoint is located behind a visitor center, and hikers have the option of taking a short nature walk or a 4.2-mile hike through a rugged canyon where bison roam.
