It winds 33 miles through spectacular scenery, but the engineers who designed it made sure Rim Drive rarely can be seen from any of its more than 30 pullouts. The route around the rim of the volcanic caldera partly filled by Crater Lake visits interesting geologic sites, hiking trailheads and the visitor services in historic Rim Village.
