One of the most influential traders of his day, John Lorenzo Hubbell purchased the trading post in 1876 at age 23. Today, the post continues to serve the community and park visitors in offering a variety of goods including handcrafted Native American rugs and jewelry. The homestead features the Hubbell family home, farm animals, and a historic barn.
