Trails roam the Cumberland Plateau through old growth hardwoods, along bluffs, past historic sites, and to seven waterfalls in this scenic park. Savage Gulf Natural Area is among the protected acreage favored by hikers, like those taking the Greeter Falls Loop Trail to a swimming hole near the 50-foot falls. The famous Great Stone Door cliff line overlooks Savage Gulf near the Visitor Center.
