Originally an armory fire engine house, this small brick structure is where John Brown made his last stand in 1859. It remains the most visited site in Harpers Ferry. 
It was dismantled and moved four times before returning near its original location. This preserved fort serves as a powerful reminder of his failed but influential raid.
